Smestow is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school, and classified as a community school within Wolverhampton Local Education Authority. It has an intake of 162 annually (this includes students with visual impairments), and approximately 1000 on roll, with 195 in the Sixth Form. Admission on entry is the responsibility of the LEA, not the school. We welcome all students, whatever their background, and do our best to maximise their educational opportunities and achievements within a distinctive ethos.
